The Madonie Park Authority (Ente Parco delle Madonie) has also highlighted the news we recently announced: the first Griffon Vulture chick born in the Madonie, the result of the first nesting of a pair of Griffon Vultures in the area after roughly 80 years, is growing well and could take its first flight between late July and early August.
An achievement of the Griffon Vulture reintroduction project we are proud of, carried out by the International Foundation for Mediterranean Biodiversity together with the Madonie Park Authority and the Municipality of Isnello.
