As part of the “Piccole Isole” project promoted by ISPRA, the bird ringing station in Ustica will be active from April 13 to May 12, 2025, in collaboration with the Fondazione Internazionale per la Biodiversità del Mediterraneo and the Stazione Ornitologica.
Ringing activities, carried out by ISPRA-authorized bird ringers, will take place from dawn to dusk at Contrada Tramontana.
This bird migration monitoring project has been conducted continuously since 1999.
