The aviary designed to host the first 20 pairs of Sicilian rock partridges has been completed as part of the reintroduction project within the Pantelleria National Park.
This intervention represents a concrete step toward restoring the original food chain and rebalancing the island’s natural ecosystem.
The structure has been designed to ensure optimal conditions for housing the partridges in a natural environment prior to their controlled release on the island, supporting a gradual reintegration that will be monitored over the long term.
